“What do you want to be when you grow up?”  This is a question asked of young children, but certainly not of middle-aged men.  After couple of billion heartbeats, several million breathes and a vast collection of birthday candles, I think I’m ready to answer the question of what I want to be when I grow up.

I want to be a “Hope” dealer and a “People” developer!

As a “Hope” dealer, I am dedicated to utilizing my God-given talents of leadership, optimism, encouragement and effective communication to help others embrace hope in overcoming personal obstacles as it relates to mind, body and soul.  I truly believe that the ultimate source of life transforming hope is found in none other than Jesus Christ.

As a “People” developer, I am dedicated to drawing out and developing the talents, aptitudes and inclinations of others so that they maximize their potential for the Kingdom of God.

My goal is to help you cross the finish line of life having fully lived.

For over three decades, I have been professionally invited into the “sacred” areas of people’s lives.  We have shared the stories of heartache.  We have shared successes.  We have discovered mistakes.  We have repented of sin.  We have celebrated new life.  We have laughed and cried together.  We have discovered the good, the bad, the ugly and the really nasty. We have loved through it all.

For over five decades, I have been an observer of life.  Watching people interact.  Examining experiences, of which I’ve had many.  Seeing the beauty that surrounds. And always looking for the humorous side of life.

Drawing on my life experiences and interests, I write to cheer you on during your leg of the human race.
